Meet Our Teachers
Sarah
Sarah’s training in piano, singing and songwriting began in early elementary school and inspired her to pursue music as a profession. While attending Berklee College of Music in Boston on scholarship, she had the pleasure of working as a mentor with the Berklee City Music program for high school musicians and a college student ambassador.
Since graduating in 2009 with a B.M. in Songwriting, she has been cultivating a career as a singer-songwriter and a music teacher in Southern California. She also serves as a judge for the international John Lennon Songwriting Competition. She enjoys listening to and playing all styles of music.

Chris
Chris has been playing and composing music for most of his life, beginning piano at age 5 and composing his first piece at age 8. He went on to graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston where he studied Piano and Music Production.
In addition to teaching full time, he also composes music for advertising. His compositions have been featured by many well known brands such as Microsoft, Best Buy, JC Penney, Old Navy, McDonalds, and many others. He loves being able to draw from his real world experience to illuminate concepts for his students. He enjoys a wide variety of music and loves being able to share the gift of music with others.
